CO-FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL- ENTERPRISE BRIDGE USA (EBU)
Mr. Karl Zavitkovsky is Co-Founder and Principal of Enterprise Bridge USA (EBU). His primary areas of expertise are real estate finance, economic development and community relations.
He was Director of the Office of Economic Development for the City of Dallas, Texas from 2005 to June 2017. His responsibilities included direction and management of all activities related to job creation, direct investment, commercial development, attraction of new companies and retention of existing businesses.
Mr. Zavitkovsky worked for over 30 years in the banking industry, 14 of which were with Citicorp, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Caracas, Venezuela. While in Venezuela, he directed Citicorp’s real estate lending activities in the northern region of South America and the Caribbean. In 1984, Mr. Zavitkovsky was transferred by Citicorp to Dallas to lead its Southwestern region, with offices in Dallas, Houston and Denver. In 1989, he began working with Bank of America as the Regional Real Estate Executive for the Central United States, including the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada.
He has served as chairman of numerous civic organizations including the Dallas Real Estate Council, Dallas Ballet and the Affordable Housing Coalition. He is a Trustee and Governor of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and serves on the North Texas Advisory Board of the Trust for Public Land (TPL).
He graduated from the College of William & Mary, majoring in economics, and has a master’s degree in international relations from Georgetown University. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and as Regional Director of the Peace Corps in Bolivia.
